The Nepalese Heritage Centre Ottawa (NHCO) has created a small library within its location. The main goal of this library is to provide a valuable resource for people interested in learning more about Nepali culture, heritage, history, tradition, and many more. The library offers a wide range of books on various topics, including moral education, folk tales, educational materials for children (from elementary to secondary school), and books on Nepali history, arts, geography, literature, music, religion, spirituality, and culture (Books available, link be mentioned here). It also features biannual publications such as the “Ottawa Chautari” by the Nepalese Canadian Association of Ottawa (NCAO). Additionally, children who are learning the Nepali language through local community programs in Ottawa can visit the library to explore Nepalese story books and other educational materials in Nepali.
All donations will be used to continue the organization of events, programs and services. Click the link below to donate.
